"Mother, can you please look after Eva tonight?" Asked issac and he sat on a brown sofa

"Where's Melissa?" Asked an old women that walked out from the kitchen

"She went London." He said dully

"When are both of you getting married? look at Eva, she is 2 now. what are both of you waiting?" asked the middle age women "If she didnt want to get married, you should settle it and move on."

"How about Eva? how am i going to move on?" Asked Issac

"Not like Melissa is going to take care of her. Even she is here, how often do both of you bring Eva home?" Asked the women again "Most of the time, Eva is staying here."

"I will think about it." He said

"I heard you have a new girl friend?" Asked the old women

"Huh?" He was blank for 3 seconds

"The college girl. Ivan and David was telling me the other day." She said

"Since when you see both of them?" He asked

"They came over for dinner yesterday when you was in an operation." Answered the old women

"WHAT!?" What the hell is going on? why didnt he know about it?

"They drop by quite often when you arent around." She said with a smile "David is happily married. Although Ivan has divorced but he is happily dating new girls from time to time. but you, what happened to you?"

"I am with melissa. aint I?" Asked Issac softly

"Are you sure this is what you thinking?" She asked and pat his shoulder "son, this is not the way." and she walked into the kitchen

"Mum, I am leaving, please take good care of Eva and when dad is back say hi to him." He cried "It has been a while not seeing him."

"Ok, drive safely." cried the old women.

He walked though the dark corridor to the ward. He wonder is she asleep yet. He stopped and lightly opened the door. and he saw lights from the laptop on her lap.

"Why arent you asleep yet!?" Asked Issac

and she screamed! Issac quickly switch on all the lights and hugged her tightly.

"What happened?" Asked Issac

"I thought it was ghost!" She answered "It's very scary here! i wanna go home! just now i heard the nurse said someone is died in the room besides mine."

"Tiffany! I was worried!" He cried

"is there anything?" Asked a nurse

"No.. is ok, please shut the door." He said

"Oh, is doctor Issac. ok, i will shut the door." She said

"I am scared and im alone!" She said

"It will be even worst of you are in a public ward." He said

"You know, although this room looks like a hotel but still, it's scary." She whisper "I can smell the medicine all around."

"Why arent you asleep yet?" He asked

"I am scared. when i close my eyes i thought it might be a ghost floating beside me and all kinda silly thoughts."

"You are being too imaginative." He said and poured a glass of water for her

"I thought you will only see me tomorrow?" She asked and took over the glass of water

"I left something in the office and thought of visiting you." He said without looking at her

"Oh.. " she said and drank her water "Ivan and David came in the afternoon after you left."

"Really?"

"Un huh..." She nodded "They told me you have a really cute daughter." She smiled

"Oh.." He simply answered

"And they show me some of her photos they took in your office." She said "You shouldn't bring her to the hospital. nor matter what, hospital is full of virus."

"My girlfirend bought her here." He said and notice some disappointment in her eyes

"Ohh really...."

"What were you doing just now?" He asked

"I was doing some furniture research. there will be a furniture competition soon and the prize is really amazing. i want to give it a try." She said

"Hmmpp?"

"No harm trying isnt?" She asked

"Yup, what the prizes?" He asked

"Some cash, a trip to Milan." She said "If i missed out this chance i might not have another chance to visit Milan."

"Why?"

"Who knows mayb i am a loser at work. and i hardly earn a penny? you will never know." She said

"Shouldnt you be more confident?" He asked

"I am tried. what should i do?" she asked

"Sleep!" he answered

"But i am scared."

"Just sleep i will be here until you are asleep." He said gently

"What if i wake up in the middle of the night? and a women's head is hanging on the ceiling?"

"Can you stop it?" He never know it's so scary to stay in a hospital "Just sleep!"

"Tifan.." Ivan was about to cried nd he saw something that shocked him...

"What the.." David was stunned by what he see

"Shi...Shi..." whispered both of them and shut the door

"Is that?" Both of them were too stunned to talk. Ivan pointed at the lift and they went down to starbucks.

"Hi, what do you need?" Asked a girl

"The.... usual...." Said David

"Make it two.." Said Ivan without thinking

"Steady...." Said David "Did i just see Issac slept on the sofa?"

"I was about to ask you.. did we just saw.. i mean see that!?" Asked Ivan

"I dont know, I.." David was speechless

"Wait.. why are both of us so panic!?" Asked Ivan

"I dont know.. because this is the first time i see he sleeping on a sofa, i guess."

"Is just Issac sleeping on a sofa isnt?" Asked Ivan again

"Not like he is naked." Added David "Even he is naked, so what!?"

"What the hell was wrong with both of us?" Asked Ivan

"Please dont bad mouth me loudly in the public." Said Issac with a cup of latte and sat with them "I was there because last night i left something in my office so i thought of visiting her since i was there and then i fall asleep in the sofa while waiting or her to sleep."

"Why? I mean why do you need to wait for her?" Asked David

"She is afraid of hospital." He said

"Oh... How sweet." mocked Ivan

"Oh please just stop it!" Said Issac

"Are you working today?" Asked Ivan

"Yes" Answered Issac

"Great." Said David

"Lunch.. " Said Ivan "You have to treat us"

"Why?" Asked Issac

"Because i will be hungry"

"Isnt it none of my business?" asked Issac "David can treat you"

"Oh please I am just a nurse!" Said David

"See.." Said Ivan

"She is still asleep" said the nurse that walked out from the ward that Tiffany is in.

"It's 2pm now." said Issac "Is she still breathing?"

"Yes.. i think she is very tired. she has been been sleeping for the whole yesterday but only at the time you came" Said the nurse

"Is ok, I am just going to check her report." He said "If it's ok she can leave tomorrow."

"Okay, her mother and sister is inside the room." The nurse said and walked away

"Oh the doctor is here." Said a middle aged women when she saw Issac walking in

"Hello, I am Doctor Issac." He said with a smiled

"How's Tiffany?" Asked a lady about early 30's

"The nurse will check on her later. if she is fine, she can leave the hospital tomorrow." He said

"My girl was crying to me that she is afraid of the hospital." Said the middle aged women "I wonder can she leave tonight?"

"It's not the right thing to do. However, if she really wants it, i can try to arrange." He said

"Oh.. since it's so troublesome is ok then. Just another day.. " Said the women

"But Tiffany..." Said the lady with a very worried looking on her face

"Tiffany is the youngest in the family, so she is spoiled." Said the middle aged women

"Oh really?" Oh yes he knows how spoiled can she be!

"These days she was dating a man we never met. i am worried." She simply said

"Dating!?" Asked Issac

"Yea.. every time we ask about it she deny but i know something is wrong with her." She said "I am her mother, is impossible for not knowing the differences."

Issac was silent

"I saw his car once.. it's a black car. if im not wrong the number was xxxx"

"Did she just mentioned his car? so she is worry about him?" Issac thought

"She is 19 isnt she? is normal to start a relationship." He said

"Yea, but at least bring him home so that we know what's going on." She said "Oh sorry doctor, am i disturbing you?" She laughed

"Oh no.. is ok." he said "I need to attend another patient, will see you later." He said and walked out the room by thinking what did Tiffany's mother tell him. However they arent dating! Should he avoid meeting Tiffany that often? She is only 19 after all...
