"Let's go, the light box has brighten up" Terrius said by holding Xinyi's left hand

Xinyi didnt want to walk but she was staring at the little boy with a huge cup of soda and popcorn.

"Xin.." He was about the ask her to move and he saw what was she looking at.

"I will get some for you." He said and both of them walked to the snacks counter

"Good afternoon, Sir." greeted the girl in the counter. "what would like to have?"

"A huge cup of Soda and a pop corn, and also 2 fairy floss." Tiffany appear out of nowhere and made the orders. "Oh.. I would like a pink fairy floss, how about you xinyi darling?"

"Tiffany!" Xinyi cried and hugged her

"Sweet heart, which colour of fairy floss would you like have?" she asked

"Purple!" Xinyi cried happily

"Everything will be xxxAUSD. " said the girl in the counter

Terrius was stunned and stoned, he didnt know how should he react.

"What are you waiting for!?" Asked Tiffany "Pay!"

He was awake by the question of Tiffany and took out the money from his brown wallet to pay.

"Since when you were here?" he asked Tiffany

"Since both of you were heading to the snack counter, i tried to run, but there were too many people. you asked me to come along, remember?" she said and took some fairy candy and asked Terrius "fairy floss?"

"Fairy floss? i thought it's candy floss." He said and opened up his mouth to allow Tiffany place some into his

"It's known as fairy floss in Aussie." she answered "where are the movie tickets?"

"Is in my wallet" he said and looked at his both hands that were holding popcorn and sodas.

"I will help you" Tiffany said and took out his wallet of the back of his jeans and passed to the man that were standing at the cinema entrance

"Your daughter is so different from both of you." The man said while tearing the tickets

"Is not our daughter." Terrius said calmly

"Oh.. sorry.."

"Is ok.. is our friend's daughter." Tiffany lied because she feel annoyed to explain all over gain and again every time when people ask.

The first time was the guard in her apartment asking is Terrius her husband or lived in boyfriend and is xinyi his ex-wife kid. the other time was the women in the restaurant insist that Terrius and her were are a relationship and didnt allow them to explain any further. she is tired with all the explanation.

"Tif! " Terrius cried

"Huh!?"

"What were you thinking?" He asked "The tickets, i dont remember our seats location."

"Ohh.. here..." she said and passed the tickets on her hand to him

"I cant believe Dumbledore died." complained Xinyi "I am so sad."

Both of them were silent

"I read the book, and when Dumbledore died, i stopped reading it for two days, because every time i touch the book, i cried." Said little Xinyi

The were still silent because both of them did not read the book. They didnt know what to answer.

"What would like to have for dinner?" finally Tiffany asked

"I dont feel like eating..." said little xinyi and tears were on her cheeks

"What happened!?" asked Tiffany

"Dumbledore... the gentle and kind Dumbledore ... died...." said xinyi "i cant believe it! what would happen to Hogwarts? oh no.. and they... oh no..."


"Tiffany, i really hate you." Terrius whispered

"WHAT!?" she asked

"out of so many movies, ice aged and etc." he said in a deep voice "why!? why harry potter!?"

"I feel like watching and i saw her looking at the internet about the movie." she answered "okay, i am sorry. i didnt know it will be that sad."

"so now what?" he asked

"honestly, im freaking hungry." she answered "feel like having Japanese cuisine."

"How about...?" He was looking at Xinyi

"Believe me, when we reached, she will be hungry and all of us will dine happily."

"Okay, the last time." he said

The dinner ended happily and Tiffany finally manage to stop Xinyi from thinking about Harry Potter but Sponge bob Square Pants at the mean time she successfully put her into sleep. Terrius found it very amazing how convincing can Tiffany be but somehow he is also worry about something else.

"Tif.." He said calmly while he was sitting on the sofa in Tiffany's living room with a newspaper

"What?" she asked and sat on the bean bag on the floor with a glass of hot milk

"Why didnt you offer me a glass of whatever on your hand?" he asked

"Is a glass of hot milk!" she said "you want?"

"You didnt offer it to me..."

"Take this! i havent dank." she said and passed the glass to him "I will make a glass for myself later. what do you want to tell me?" she asked

"about Xinyi." he said after placing the glass on the coffee table "her parents is still missing after 2 weeks."

"uh huh..." she nodded

"I thought we should send her to school or something." he suggested "the summer vacation is going to end on next week, and i think she should go to class."

"Why are you telling me all these?" She asked and rose form the bean bag she was sitting on "I have no idea at all. you are the one who promise to look after her. and as you know, i will not have the time to look after her. and at the same time, you have been sleeping in my living room for 2 weeks, my living room is like your bedroom now. and it will actually spoilt my reputation."

"Well, i cant bring her to my place." he said

"Why not? your apartment is so much larger and it's so comfortable there. i would love to stay there is i have a chance."

"Well, but it's more cozy in your place." He said thinking that how cool will it be if she change the sofa

"But, you know." She said carefully "and.. and.. i have no idea when will my parents will surprise me! what if they turned out in front of me like what i dreamed the other day? and what if some day like what you did most of time sneak into my room and slept beside me because the sofa is too small for you!?"

"I mean.. i know we are 'clean'.. but.. but.. still.. what if the guard told them like your daughter is sleeping with a guy! and you know, you look so good, and you greet with the guard every morning! certainly, he will remember you! right? right? right!?" she almost cried out

"Arr... now i see the point." He said "you are afraid that i spoilt your reputation." he smiled wickedly

"Of coz.."

"However, the other day i answered your sister's call."

"WHAT!?"

"Didnt she ask who are you!?"

"I told her, I am your friend."

"...." She was silent

"Anyway, can we back to our topic? about Xinyi."

"I have no idea, Terrius." She said "I dont know.. if you were to send her to school, how can you ensure that those people wont kidnap her as well?"

"I dont know." He said "What if her parents gone missing for a year or two? and she will be doing nothing for that long? I dont mind looking after her, money is not a problem to me. but.." he was about to continue and he noticed that Tiffany was asleep and her head was on his shoulder.

What should he do to Xinyi? He is so puzzled. Tiffany is so young, she is not even sure about her life yet. why on Earth did he ask her about Xinyi when she is still not clear about her furture? he is just adding more burden into her. he said and laughed at himself. He carried Tiffany into her bedroom and slept beside her because the cheap sofa in her bedroom is really awfully hard and uncomfortable.

"cafe or stationary shop?" she is whispering to herself in the coffee house


"Can you stop it?" A young man said "I cant do my calculation"


"Eliot!" she cried


"Which one should I choose?" she asked again "cafe or stationary shop?"


"I thought Momoko is in your group?" he said "why dont you ask her?"


"Both are interesting.. we want both!" said Momoko


"But..." she closed her eyes


"Momo.. which one?" she asked "we cant choose two!"


"Why not? i thought we will have extra marks for that. isnt?" She said


"Then each of us do one of it." she made a solution but.." which one would you like to do?"


"Erm.. Cafe." Momoko said and added "Actually I dont know. i want both."


"Argh.. i feel like dying.." she said


"When you have no idea at all, you feel like killing yourself." Eliot said calmly "but when you have all the ideas all over your mind you feel like dying."


"..." she was silent


"So why don’t you just kill yourself now?" Eliot mocked


"You aint helping." Tiffany said and drank the half cup of her coffee


"Greek god..." said Eliot by pushing Steven's arm


"What? Where?" Asked Steven


"There...." Pointed Eliot


"Omg.. he really does looks like a Greek god." said Momoko


Tiffany is not going to deny how charming he is. Everyone in the cafe is looking at him and she has a feeling she has used to it. she was also admiring his good looking until he walked over to her


"How do i look like when i am naked?" He whisper to her left ear


"WHAT!?" She cried and stood up


He laughed out and greeted them all


"Hi" Eliot said shyly


"Stop being gay!" Said Tiffany


"Is ok." Said Terrius and he looked at one of Tiffany's sketches

"I think the position is a little out." He said


"is just a hand sketch, i didnt follow any point." She answered


"I know but.." The position was very wrong "Mayb, you people have been too depending on computers software." That they cant even draw a simple sketch with free hand


"Are you trying to..." Just before tiffany finished her sentence


"No.. no.. i dont mean anything.. my interns did that too.." He said quickly


"I got to go.. i have a meeting later" He said and smile "Btw, your calculation... the formula is wrong." He said to Eliot


They stared at him walked out to the cafe


"OMG! I didnt know he was actually looked at my calculation!" Said Eliot


"He is amazing...." Said Steven

"Tif.. i told you, you should use a ruler to draw." Said Momoko


"watever!" Said Tiffany


Terrius walked into the cafe again but this time he was with a little Chinese girl


"Can you guys look after her for a while?" He asked "Im in a rush to the meeting. i found her in the bus stop infront. she was crying for her parents."


"Can we say no?" Asked Tiffany


"Please.. i really need to rush.." Beg Terrius "Is very simple, just bring her to the police station."


They were silent


"Oh please...."


"You owe me one!" She said


"Ok" He said and walked quickly out of the cafe


"Erm, i think i am gonna bring her to the police station now." and she added on "i believe no one is willing to go with me." she rose from her feet and walked out the cafe with the little girl.

"Im going to bring you to the police, and they will find your parents for you." She said kindly


The little girl was silent


"I am Tiffany, how about you?" She asked


"My... my mama.. call me Xinyi." She said softly but enough for Tiffany to hear


"Xinyi?" She said "Nice name."


"My mummy left me....." She said and tears drops were on her cheeks "It is because im naughty?"


"No.. no.." She answered and use a tissue to wipe her tears "I believe they are looking for you too..."


"A man came into our car while daddy was driving and ... and...mummy pushed me out of the car..." She said with tears "That man has ....a knife like what..... mummy use to cut the fruits for my lunch box...."


"Dont cry darling. later when you see the police tell them everything ok?" She said and hugged her in the bus

They has been waited in the police station for 3 hours and no one has attended them. all they did was walked over asked their name and disappeared.


"Honey, dont cry..." Said Tiffany


"I want mummy...." Xinyi said in tears


Tiffany's phone rang and it was Terrius


"Terrius here, how's the girl?" He asked


"Believe it or not, im still waiting here.."


"At where?"


"Police Station!"


"Did you leave a 20 dollar note in your file?" He asked


"What? that's illegal!" She cried


"OMG! how stupid are you!" He said "I will be there in 15 minutes"


She didnt know what to do except for asking Xinyi stop crying and her parents will be back to her. She thought of offering candies to her, but she only has mint's candy. when Xinyi teased it, she cried even louder because it was too spicy for her. she was so clueless, all she can do is to wait for Terrius.


Finally Terrius is here, he walked to the officer and said something to the officer in a corner and handed something to the officer.


"Come, is our turn now." He said charmingly and carried little Xinyi on his arm.


"Bloody hell, what did you do? how could you be tat fast!?" She asked


"Something you wont be doing." He answered

"Done!" He said


"Can i leave now?" Asked Tiffany


"I thought we can go for a dinner" He said


"I dont have the time." She said "thanks to you, i suppose i wont have the time to sleep tonight."

"I have an office design to submit tomorrow morning and 1 cafe and 1 stationary shop design to submit next week."


"How hard can an office design be?" he asked "Lets go for dinner, and i promise i will try and think of something about it for you."


"How about her?" She asked by looking at Xinyi


"I wonder should i bring her home until her parents returned"


"You should." She said by thinking how bad the environment in the police station is


"Xinyi, what do you feel like eating?" She asked her


"Pizza..." Xinyi answered happily as if she has forgotten about her parents


"Cool, so let order it to my place and i get your so called assignment done."


"Xin darling, you are going to stay with uncle Terrius for a few days until your parents return ok?" She asked


"Yes, they will be back as soon as possible. in the mean time you will have fun in my place."

"She is asleep." She said by walked out of her guest room "Can you tell me again why will she and you ended up in my apartment? I thought you said she will be staying with you, and you will be ordering pizza to YOUR place!?"


"Because i need to help some donkeys on their assignments?" He said and look at the other 3 in the living room


"Wao..." Tiffany teased


"Anyway erm i have redraw your drawings." He said "all you need now is to scan it into your computer and create a layout."


"Serious?" She asked


"Yes" He answered "However, use Photoshop to adjust a little of the lighting. the effect will be nicer"


"Emr i dont know how to use photoshop..." She said softly


"WHAT!?" he couldnt believe what did he just hear


"is ok, lightroom is good enough for that." She added on


"Whatever you use." He said "I did not change your boutique office concept i thought it was okay."


"Thank you very much"


"Yea.. " He said and added on "The last time your uni asked me am i interested to be your guest lecturer, i rejected"

"I was but now i think i made the right choice." He teased "You people aint stupid but extremely lazy!"

"Wake up..." Terrius pushed Tiffany and there's no respond

"Wake up...!" He cried out loud and everyone in the living room woke up.

"You guys have 30 minutes before the time of submission of your projects." he said calmly

"I have checked everything.. it should be fine." He said and sat on the sofa with his cup of coffee and morning paper

"Holy Shit!" Steven rose quickly and ran to the door "Thank you Greek god! thank god you were here or else i will be still drawing" he said and ran out of the apartment

"Thank you Terrius" Said momoko and Eliot and both of them ran out of the apartment as well

"Tiffany can you wake up!?" Cried Terrius

"Huh?" she said "5 more minutes please..."

"No.. wake up now!" He said again

"3 more minutes..."

"NO! I said now!" he cannot imagine if his interns said that to him

She cried out with tears and freaked Terrius out

"What is this!?" He asked

"I want to sleep!" She said with tears on her cheeks

"You are going to be late.." He said carefully

"I hate you Greek god..." She said and rose from the carpet she was sleeping on

"i am stuck!" she said and flung herself backward to the back of the chair

she walked out to the balcony of her apartment.

"Yo, Tif what are you doing here?" Steven asked with a cigarette on his hand

"im stuck." she said "i am lost."

"the office design you are working on?" he asked

"yeah."

"i thought you did a mood board?"

"I found it impossible for me to bring the feeling i want to 3D." she said

"we arent suppose to share our idea." he said "Or else i will give you a hand"

"i know, because if i were to share with you, you might be ended up doing the same thing as mine." she said "is not like you are a copy cat but it will eventually lead you to. i understand that."

it has been 3 weeks after Tiffany's school started....

"Tiffany, have you found your note book?" Japanese girl with short hair asked

"No, can you be a little smarter while her laptop is just infront of her!?" said the Japanese girl with an annoyed tone "of coz is the traditional note book!"

"Ohh.." answered the young man "where did you lose it?"

"i left it in the bench of a bus stop." said Tiffany

"hmmp..."

"what are you doing here?" asked Tiffany

"Oh.. to pay my debts." he said and took out 100 dollar from his wallet and handed to the Japanese girl

"Tif, look, i returned Momoko the money i took from her purse the other day." he said

"You took my money!?" cried Momoko

"it was an emergency." he said and rose from his feet "I got to go.. see you."

she was in deep thoughts thinking that who took her notebook or the dog ate it? there are so many things in it. including the name card of the handsome guy gave her in the airplane. she hasnt have the time to save it in her laptop. and several sketches of angels. she blushed when she thought of her sketches. there were some naked angels. even one angel that look like Terrius. she left her contact in the note book, she wonder will anyone actually bother to return it to her.

"huh?" Terrius look at the direction the women was looking and added on "Oh no.. it wasnt mine, it belongs to a friend of mine."

"Yea, she left it in the bus stop." He said and thought he saw her left it there and ran to the bus while he walked out the cafe

"not like i care." she said and kissed his cheek

"darling, i am tried today." he said and pushed her away from his lap "why dont we call it a day today? i will fetch you home."

"what!?" she was stunned

"i have tons of plans to check" he said "and also i need to think of a concept for my next project in Hong Kong."

"But, i am already here." she said sadly

"or you prefer to rest in my guest room?" he smiled

"come on, i am going to fetch you home." he said and opened his room's door

he was silent in the car, he was in deep thought about his work and also the note book. did he just saw a naked him with a pair of wings in the note book!? and he smiled out of blue

"i dont know." he said and stopped his car infront of a condo "i think you are home."

"Ok good night, Terrius." she said

"Good night..." he stopped because he cant even remember her name

Tiffany handed over the box form the young man. the box was wrapped nicely with a light grey paper and a purple ribbon with a small card attached to the ribbon written:

they walked out to the front of the university they are studying and saw Terrius is walking towards them

"it's only red, blue and green. Rainbow consisted of 7 colors. did you learn your science?" he asked

"i am a designer, not a scientist! i believe in what i see!" she answered

"what you see is an incomplete rainbow!" he said

"oh.. can you stop it?!" she cried and people were looking at both of them

"childish!" he said

"Sir, your meals are ready. you can leave the counter now." The waitress said and smiled thinking what a cute couple were they

she was walking on the street and looking around. she laughed herself acted like an idiot that never been to a city before. she stopped in front of a starbucks cafe that reminded her a lot of her past, Issac. she laughed how stupid was her and walked in.

"Morning, what would like to order?" Asked a blond baristas

"Hot Mocha." She said

"Make it two." A young man with a fashionable brown- yellow checkered scarf said

"Having here?"

"Take away." He answered

She was stunned and started at him. he paid and smiled at her

"I would like to have your number in return." he said wickedly "Is ok if you do not want to give it to me but at least take the hot mocha i bought you."

he said, took his hot mocha and walked out of the cafe.

"I think your friend left his keys" the baristas said with a smile

"Oh.." she took the keys and the cup of hot mocha and ran out of the cafe tried to catch him up

she looked around but she couldn't find him until she wanted to give up

"Are you looking for me?" The young man asked with a charming smile

"You left your keys." She said

"Shall we walk together?" He flirted

"why not?" She thought it would be fine since she was bored walking alone.

She notice he was almost same aged as her. However, she found it very confusing is he an Asian or not. his skin color made him looks Asian but his beautiful features made him somehow looks like an European.

His hair was black but his eyes were dark blue. it might sounded weird but it matches him very nicely and in fact he is good looking even handsome but as handsome.

"dont look at me in this way." He said "I am a Eurasian."

"Oh.. I see.." She said and realised something else. he sounded like a british.

"I was born in England." He said

"Totally understood." She said and smile

"Are you a tourist?" He asked

"No." She simply answered

"And?"

"Erm..I dont know." She suddenly notice is not right to tell a stranger so much about herself

"what?" He was shocked by what he heard. what do she mean by she dont know?

"Yes, i dont know." She said again

"whatever." he said "I am an engineering student."

"Ok." She answered

"My university will be having a party on tomorrow." he said "are you interested?"

"Tomorrow night?" She asked

"Yes."

"No I cant." she said. Harriet will be leaving tomorrow night.

"is ok." he said dully "I need to leave now. will see you sometime, i hope. bye."

"Hey, will you be free on next tuesday?" Asked a Issac on the other side of the phone "because i will be having a talk in Rome on this weekends."

"Is ok, i dont think i need the flash drive anymore." She said

"You wont be free on tuesday?" He asked again

"No." She simply answered

"hmp.." he sounded worried

"Is ok, you can reformat the flash drive and use it." she said "Im not goin to use it anymore."

"Hey, my mom is yelling for me." She said "Bye" she hung up without waiting for him to answer

"Tiffany! have you packed your bag?" Asked a middle aged women

"Packing..." She answered while she is folding her clothes

"Sweet heart, did you inform your friends that you will be leaving on next monday?"

"I told those who suppose to know." She said thinking that Issac dont actually consider as her friend

"The 3 girls, high school mates and some of my college mates." She said

"How can you only inform some of your college mates?"

"Erm.. i dont know." She said and packed some books into a brown box

"You are goin to further your studies, shouldnt you tell them about it?" asked the middle age women

"I dont think so." She said "Our relationship is just normal." she said thinking that, she isnt important at all, even she disappear, no one will realise

"Better know what are you doing."

"Mum, not like im not coming back anymore." She said "Besides, Harriet will be coming with me until i settle down." she doesnt understand why was her mother so worried

"Darling, when you are alone there, dont be naughty." Said the middle aged women "I used to worry a lot about your sibling while they are in oversea, but im not that worry about you, you are more discipline."

"I am glad you know that." She said

"I hope you can stay as good as you are when you are alone in Sydney"

"Mom.. i will.. and i will ring you everyday after my class." She said "And i will miss dad and you."

"Tif, how was everything?" Said a middle aged man

"Is almost done." Tiffany answered

"Any request before you leave?" Asked her father

"Yea, can i not to stay in a hostel?" She asked "but an apartment?"

"Why?" He asked

"I dont feel like sharing a place with the other. besides, they might bring their friends home which will make me feel weird."

"Let see what can Harriet find you, when you reached." He said

"Thanks dad." She said with a smile

She was waiting for the airplane to board. she was sitting at the waiting area. she was in deep thought about the person she met in the hospital, Issac. What will happen if she told him that she likes him? will it be any different? Or he will reject her because of his girl friend that named Melissa? Or he just treated her as a sister? but, what's the reason he was cold to her out of blue? did she did anything wrong or he noticed her feelings towards him?

"Tif, look!" Said her sister, Harriet by pointing at the TV infront of them

"Air crash?" She asked

"Yea, the plane was heading to Rome last night."

"We should pray before the plane board" Said Tiffany

"Yes, we should." Answered Harriet "Oh, btw, we will be sitting far apart from each other, so take care of your self"

"I will be fine."

"Yea, thanks to you by waking up so late which made us have to sit apart from each other." Said Harriet and lightly pushed her head

"You werent any better" She said and they giggles

thanks for being late, she was now in the first class because the economics was full. she cant imagine how wonderful will this flight be. first class was great even the seat are larger, more comfy. awww.. she was in heaven. she looked out the window and she saw airplanes were moving around. and close the window and looked around.

There was a man with a white shirt and black suits sitting besides her. he was extremely good looking. his nose was straight and high. his eyes were wonderful, it was very beautiful and she felt bravery in his eyes. his lips was thin and sexy matches his tan skin very well. she was stunned by thinking is impossible for someone to look as good as him.

He seems to feel that Tiffany was looking at him, he draw his attention from the newspaper he was looking and looked at Tiffany.

"Sorry, i wasnt.." She tried to explain but he didnt answered but smiled

She was so embarrass she took a magazine from the pocket of the chair infront and read it. she could feel the heat on her face.

they were silent for a while until Harriet walked over to her.

"Tif, do you know that Dr.Issac was one of the victim in the plane that crashed last night?" she asked

"Dr. Issac?" She asked

"Yea, the doctor that heal you. remember?" She asked

"Not to worry anyway, i heard he wasnt hurt." She said "anyway, i am just here to check you out." She said and walked away

"Oh.. i am fine.." She said by thinking how lucky was Issac.
