"Sweetheart are you ready for work today?" Asked a middle aged women
Her name was Tiffany. Aunt Tiffany was my only relative left. I was a her husband's daughter. Few years ago, my parents passed away because of SARS. My parents were doctors, just like aunt Tiffany's husband. Three of them volunteer to work for the SARS patients and my uncle and my father passed away not long after and followed by my mother as well.
"Yes." I said and walked out to the cafe.
"There you go." she passed me a cup of tea "You are still a little girl inside."
"What makes you think so?"
"You hate coffee." She said and laughed
"Aunt Tif..." and i stared at my watch "Oh no! im going to be late.." again..
"I will see you tonight at dinner!" I ran out of the cafe and ran to my car
"I hope you dont be back for dinner." said Aunt Tiffany
"Why not?" Asked a gentlemen
"Oh.. im sorry, i thought no one was here." She replied
"Is ok.. can i have a long black?"
"Take away?" She guessed by looking at his outfit.
"Yea.."
"She was my brother-in-law's daughter. It has been a long long time after her puppy love." she said "She broke up with her boyfriend because of someone she met only once and she was so confident that she will found him. "
He was silent
"I dont really like her first boyfriend either but there is no point for her to wait for someone she dont even know his name for so many years. furthermore i dont think that person even remember her." She said and passed the coffee to him "Im so sorry for telling you my family problems."
"Is okay, from now on i will be a regular customer of yours." He said and had a slip of his coffee "I need my morning coffee on every weekdays."
"Of coz." she replied.
"someone she didnt even know his name huh? an idiot of a hopeless romantic?" He asked himself

"Please wait!" I cried and ran into the lift "Thank you"
The lift was so full that i believe the next person walk in it's going to start crying of over load. luckily im skinny enough.. LOL.
"excuse me" A women said and i walked out the lift to allow them to walk out. i walked back into the lift where only a man with a cup of coffee on his hand left. I looked at him and i realised he was the man i met in the rain few years ago
"Oh my god!" I cried. is him!!! That person i have waited, i wonder does he remember me or he doesnt even remember about that day
"Do i know you?" He asked.
"Erm, no. "I answered "I thought you were someone i know." I said. Im very certain it's him, that voice.
"Oh.." and we did not talk anymore

"Do you know the new director is here today?" My friend asked me
"Erm.. no" how would i know? didnt i just reached the office?
"He is extremely handsome! he looks so cool!"
"Really?" i cant think but that person i met just now. finally, i found him but he doesnt remember me.
"There will be a meeting in 15 minutes." said a guy "hey our new director!" The guy said and pointed on the upper floor.
Is him! why is he working with me? Oh My god! what should i do? Sigh.. i cant believe in my luck sometimes.

"Brigitte, are going dinner with us?" Asked a girl
"Oh no, i promised Aunt Tiffany that im going to dine with her tonight. Plus i still have something to do." I answered
"Sigh.. why do i have so much crap to do? Why do i have save everyone's ass! damn it." I whispered angrily. "Why do i have to deal with a bunch of idiots? why cant i find a better job? why do i have to work with 'him'????" a thousand of questions, i need answers!
"You should ask your self, why dont you ask for help when is needed instead of telling the bunch of useless idiots is okay i will do it!" Someone said
I look at the direction of the voice came from, is the upper floor and i saw him standing at the transparent divider.
"You dont even know what is going on, dont make it like you have been in this office for very long." What does he know? if i dont complete the work, if i dont save their ass, i might be fired because we are in a team. does he know that?
"What i know is you have to burn mid night oil without a good reason." He replied
"What are you doing here? is already 8pm." I asked
"Are you aware that im your boss? i think i deserve a more polite way of speaking."
"Fine, im not going to ask you anything." I only know you forget about me
He didnt walked away but looking at her
"What an idiot" he thought and smiled
"Stop staring at me." I cried
"Okay, im leaving. good luck" He said and walked to my desk "Looks like you have a lot to complete."he said and walked away
what a bastard!? he said and smile and walked away! i wait a bastard for so long? oh my god! i must be crazy!

"Aww, im hungry." I said and looked at my watch "It's 9pm. im sure aunt Tiffany is asleep."
I looked up and i saw him with 2 packed of food.
"Your dinner." He said "What else do you need to do?" He sat beside me and switch on his laptop
"I can do it my self." I answer
"Im your boss, im ordering you to give me some of your work." he said
"can you.." be more polite!? " this is the last one." i passed to him
"next time, i dont want to see your face after 6pm." he said
"I will try." i said and i realized it's raining outside
"Why are you staring at the window?" he asked
"It's raining." I said and thought of that rainy day again
"A girl sat on me once, on a heavy rain" He said
"do you still contact her?" I asked
"No" He answered "Why should i?" He asked
"How does she looks like?" I asked
"Short and skinny, i dont remember her face" He answered
"Why not?" I asked
"She was a kid, why do i need to remember a kid? is not like she is a hot babe." He said 'Why are you so curious about it?"
"I was trying to talk to you so the mood wouldnt look so dead here." i said
"Is not a need." He said "i dont like to talk when im working."
"Whatever." I answered
"The fish burger is yours, please dont take the beef burger coz it's mine."
"thanks, how much is it?" I asked
"Is not a need. is a treat from your new boss."
"How thoughtful, a treat. McDonald's." i mocked
"Dont force yourself to eat it if you dont want to." he teased me
